Technical operator, fleet

Keep every car right before the next driver opens the door. Warsaw, full time.

  • Warsaw, on site
  • Full time
  • 5,000 to 8,500 PLN gross a month
  • Operations

A customer books in the app, walks up to the car and unlocks it with their phone. Nobody hands over keys and nobody stands next to the car when the rental starts.

That is why this job exists. The car has to be right before the customer opens the door, and the only person who has seen it since the last rental is you. In Warsaw you will be the first person doing this, and the way you do it becomes the way it is done.

What you will do

  • Check every car that comes back from a rental: walk around it, compare it against the previous inspection photos, look at the interior, tyres, lights, fluids, fuel level and warning lamps, and record it in our system with photos the same day.
  • Fix the small things on the spot: bulbs, wipers, fuses, tyre pressure and puncture repair, fluid top-ups, a flat battery, a loose trim, a telematics device that has stopped reporting.
  • Take cars to a partner service and bring them back: maintenance, seasonal tyre changes, technical inspection, bodywork. Check the work was done before you accept the car back.
  • Handle the serious faults: diagnose what you can, describe the problem clearly to the service, and follow the car until it is back on the road.
  • Keep the fleet legal: track service intervals, insurance and technical inspection dates so nothing lapses.
  • Keep the record straight, and move cars between locations, to the wash or to the fuel station when needed.

What we are looking for

  • Attention to detail. This is the job: a scratch you did not photograph becomes a dispute with the next customer.
  • Hands-on car knowledge: a mechanic’s or auto-electrician’s training, or equivalent experience in a service, a dealership or a fleet.
  • A category B driving licence and a clean record. You will drive different cars every day.
  • Comfort with a phone app and a task system: photos, checklists and tickets are half the work.
  • Reliable and self-organising: most of the day you are alone with the cars and a list.
  • Polish, and working English: the team you report to works in English.

Nice to have

Experience with a rental fleet, tyre service, telematics devices, or a fleet of mixed makes and ages. Knowing Warsaw’s roads and parking rules well.

What we offer

  • 5,000 to 8,500 PLN gross a month, depending on experience.
  • Employment contract (umowa o pracę) or B2B, your choice.
  • A fleet of many makes and ages, so no two days are the same.
  • The first operations hire in a new country: your work is visible and your judgement is trusted.
  • Room to grow into a fleet lead role as the Polish fleet grows.
